PB Banana Egg Rolls

If you love your Air Fryer as much as I do, then these Peanut Butter Banana Egg Rolls are a must try snack! A thin layer of peanut butter is spread on egg roll wrappers and rolled up with a fresh banana. Spray the egg roll wrapper with a very light coat of oil for the crunchiest results and pop them in your Air Fryer. 10 Minutes later you have a crunchy and creamy treat that is heavenly!

Air Fryer Desserts

At this point you are probably familiar with my love for making all the savory things in the Air Fryer. Air Fryer BBQ Pork Sweet Potato Skins and Air Fryer Buffalo Chicken Tenders top the list as some of my favorite recipes.

Sweets and desserts are very much a possibility in your Air Fryer as well. From Cinnamon Sugar Donuts to Air Fryer Churros, there are endless possibilities!

Light & Healthy Snack in the Air Fryer

While we all love a good churro or donut, sometimes we are looking to satisfy our sweet tooth with a snack that doesn’t have all the sugar. These Peanut Butter Banana Egg Rolls hit the spot for something sweet, but are a light and healthy snack with just a little peanut butter and fresh fruit.

How to Make Air Fryer Peanut Butter Banana Egg Rolls

It truly couldn’t be much easier to make this easy snack!

  • To get started lay out your desired amount of egg roll wrappers on the counter.
  • Spread 1 Tablespoon of peanut butter in a thin layer over the center of the wrapper, being sure to leave at least 1/2 inch on the edges without peanut butter.
  • Peel your bananas and lay one banana on the wrapper from corner to corner. If the bananas are exceptionally large, cut them down so that they are at least 1 inch from each corner.
  • Moisten the outside edges of the wrapper using a little water on a pastry brush or your finger. Be sure to wet the edges very well so the wrapper sticks to itself and seals in the banana.
  • Fold the sides of the wrapper toward the center and roll tightly.
  • Spray each eggroll with a light mist of olive oil or pan spray. This step is optional, but adding just a little oil really helps the wrapper crisp up nicely and turn a beautiful golden color.
  • Place in your Air Fryer and cook at the highest temperature for 8-10 minutes, or until the egg rolls are crispy and golden.
  • Enjoy immediately!

Easy Snack for Kids

The bananas are warmed in the process of crisping up the egg roll, which really brings out their sweetness. The sweet banana paired with the salty peanut butter is a dessert made in heaven! The crispy egg roll not only holds it all together, but it adds a fantastic crunchy texture to go with the soft creamy bananas.

These are a treat that you want to enjoy fresh out of the Air Fryer. I wouldn’t recommend letting them sit around more than 5-10 minutes before enjoying. They are most ideal with the banana is still warm and the wrapper is crispy crunchy!

I like to make these Peanut Butter Banana Egg Rolls shortly before my kids get home and just pop them in the Air Fryer once they arrive for the freshest and most delicious snack. They gobble them right up and ask for more!
