11 Healthy Snacks - Sweet Ideas for On-The-Go - Fast and easy snacks that are loaded with protein and are great to grab & go!

I am excited to share easy recipes for 11 Healthy Snack Ideas – Sweet Treats for On-The-Go with you today! These unique treats are quick snack ideas that are loaded with protein, have less than 200 calories each and are great options to grab & go. Whether you are looking to satisfy your sweet tooth or get you through the mid-afternoon munchies, I have got you covered with a variety of delicious homemade snacks.

Strawberry Pistachio Greek Yogurt

1. Pistachio & Strawberry Greek Yogurt – Top an 8 oz. cup of strawberry yogurt with 2/3 c. quartered strawberries and 1 Tbsp. shelled pistachios. The addition of fresh fruit and nuts really amps up the texture and flavor in classic yogurt.

Calories- 192   Fat – 4   Carbs – 29   Fiber – 3   Sugar – 20   Protein – 14

Coconut Almond & Peanut Butter Bananas - Easy snack idea!

2. Coconut Almond & Peanut Butter Bananas – Take a half of a large banana, slice it in half lengthwise and top it with 2 Tbsp. peanut butter, 2 Tbsp. toasted coconut and 1/4 ounce of these amazing Blue Diamond Toasted Coconut Almonds roughly chopped. I can’t get enough of these awesome coconut almonds, they are so delicious!

1 slice (1/4 of banana): Calories- 172   Fat – 16   Carbs – 10   Fiber – 2   Sugar – 6   Protein – 2

Light Frozen Peanut Butter Whips

3. Light Frozen Peanut Butter Whips – Find the recipe HERE. These little bites of peanut butter and Cool Whip are the perfect way to cool off with a sweet treat.

3 Whips: Calories- 141  Fat – 9   Carbs – 12   Fiber – 3   Sugar – 13   Protein – 2

Peanut Butter & Yogurt Apple Slices

4. Peanut Butter & Yogurt Apple Slice – Top a 1/4″ slice of apple with a mixture of 1 tbsp Greek yogurt & 1 tbsp peanut butter, 1 tsp golden raisins and 1 tsp dried cranberries. The combination of yogurt and peanut butter may sound strange, but I promise you, it is AMAZING! Once you try it, you will be using it on everything.

5. Frozen Chocolate Covered Fruit – You can dip your own fruit in dark chocolate, or do it the practical way like myself and grab a box of this Dole Dippers in the freezer section! 🙂 They come in strawberry, banana and pineapple and make a great snack to satisfy that sweet tooth!

7. Fruit & Coconut Jello Cup – Grab your favorite sugar-free jello cup and top it with 1 Tbsp toasted coconut and 1/2 c. of your favorite fruit. I used raspberries and orange segments for a fun combo. The toasted coconut adds great flavor, texture and sweetness for a major step up on plain jello.

Calories- 156   Fat – 6   Carbs – 16   Fiber – 1   Sugar – 8   Protein – 9

Dark Chocolate, Blueberry & Almond Snack Mix

10. Dark Chocolate, Blueberry & Almond Snack Mix – Combine 1 c. dark chocolate chips, 1 c. pumkin seeds, 1 c. dried blueberries and 1/2 container (165 g.) of the amazing Blue Diamond Toasted Coconut Almonds I mentioned above. Scoop roughly 1/4 c. into 16 small snack bags for a quick and easy snack on the go!

    I have a huge jar full of pistachios that I got from the store for sale. They are my favorite nut due to the fact that they are so healthy for you. I eat them alone or put them in my salads. However, I have never thought about putting them with yogurt before. Does the yogurt make them soggy or are they able to retain their hardness? That is something that would be a concern to me, but perhaps I could find another fruit or dairy option to pair them with.

      Hi Raylin, I add the pistachios right before I eat it so they keep their texture very nicely. That is why you will see the photos that have a little solo cup containing the yogurt toppings so they stay nice and fresh.
