Stay with me here. I can see some of you already turning up your noses, thinking balsamic vinegar in a pie sounds crazy, but just trust me!

Balsamic reduction fails to even resemble vinegar after it is reduced into a sweet, luscious and just slightly tangy sauce. It pairs wonderfully with fruit and this cream pie is simple perfection with the fresh summer combination. Skinny Mini Strawberry Balsamic Cream Pies

I’m totally intrigued by these. I love balsamic but never thought of using it in a dessert! Must make them!

I bought a bottle of reduced balsamic vinegar glaze of modena when i went italy in the summer but had no idea what to do with it.. This sounds so good.. I just had one question. Can i use frozen strawberries instead of the fresh ones?
    Thanks

Hey Vandy, you can certainly use frozen strawberries it will just have a little bit different texture to it and it will be a bit sweeter if they are sweetened strawberries.
