Equipment

Ingredients

Sweet Potato Fries

  • 2 large sweet potatoes
  • Olive oil spray
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Honey-Chipotle Dip

  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • ½ teaspoon chipotle powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  • For the Sweet Potato Fries
  • Slice the potatoes into ¼” matchsticks. (peeling the potatoes is optional) Place the fries into a bowl of ice water while you cut the remaining potatoes.
  • Let the potatoes sit for 1-2 hours in the ice bath for the crispiest fries.
  • Remove the fries from the water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  • Spray the potatoes lightly with olive oil spray and sprinkle with salt.
  • Add the fries to the air fryer and cook them at 400F for 12-15 minutes, shaking them half way through cooking. If you are using a smaller Air Fryer, cook them in two batches.
  • For the Honey-Chipotle Dip
  • Combine all of the ingredients in a small bowl.
  • Store in the fridge until ready to use.

Notes

It’s important not to crowd the sweet potato fries or you’ll end up with soggy French fries.
If you enjoy a sweeter fry, sprinkle the sweet potato fries with a little brown sugar and cinnamon as soon as you remove them from the Air Fryer
