Ingredients

Chicken Salad

  • 2 cups smoked chicken diced or shredded
  • 2/3 cup green onions diced (3-4 green onions)
  • 1/2 cup celery finely diced

Dressing

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt or sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon liquid smoke
  • 1 teaspoon red or white wine vinegar
  • *1/4 teaspoon garlic salt taste first, if chicken is generously seasoned, you may want to skip

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the dressing ingredients, omitting the garlic salt*.
  • Stir in the remaining chicken salad ingredients and mix until well coated.
  • Season with garlic salt to taste. If you smoked chicken was well seasoned, the chicken salad may not need any garlic salt.
  • Serve with crackers or on a bun with lettuce and tomato.
