Ingredients

  • 8 oz. Havarti cheese in ¾-inch cubes
  • 8 oz. sharp cheddar cheese in ¾-inch cubes
  • 4 oz. Prosciutto
  • 4 oz. salami
  • 1 cup olives
  • 1/2 pound grapes - green red or a variety of both
  • ¼ cup roasted almonds
  • Cherry tomatoes or cranberries
  • 5 sprigs of rosemary for garnish - optional
  • Crackers and bread for serving - I like to include a variety of wheat white, etc.

Instructions

  • Start with the base of the tree and add slices of salami in the shape of a large, flat trapezoid.
  • Next, add the olives in a slightly smaller trapezoid right above the salami, followed by the prosciutto above.
  • Add the cheeses above the meat and finish the top of the tree with grapes.
  • Add the almonds in a rectangle at the bottom of the cheese board to make the tree trunk.
  • Garnish the tree with sprigs of rosemary throughout the board and decorate with cherry tomatoes or cranberries to mimic ornaments on a tree.
  • Top with a cheese star and serve with crackers and bread.

Notes

Serve immediately or store refrigerated for up to 24 hours wrapped well in Saran wrap.
