Caramelized Bacon & Apples is an amazing fruit topping for pancakes, ice cream, oatmeal, cheesecake and so much more! It has a fantastic balance of flavors with tart apples and brown sugar glazed bacon.

In a large skillet over medium high heat, saute the bacon for 3 to 4 minutes, or until it just starts to crisp up.
Remove half of the bacon fat and set aside for another use.
Add the brown sugar, cinnamon and apples to the pan. Saute for 4-5 minutes over medium heat until the apples are cooked but still have a tiny crisp left on the inside.
Serve over your favorite breakfast, sweet or piece of meat!
Notes
Baking apples such as Braeburn or Pink Lady work best for this recipe.
