In an extra large microwave safe bowl, melt the butter in the microwave. Stir in the seasonings until well mixed.
Add the Chex Mix and nuts and fold until everything is well coated.
Microwave for 6 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes.
Stir in the garlic rye chips and spread over wax paper lined counters.
Allow to cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
Notes
For a gluten free version, just substitute rice or corn Chex Mix for the wheat Chex Mix and use gluten-free pretzels. Sadly you will have to skip the rye chips as well.
